Epic Encounters เป็นสินค้าจากค่าย Steamforged ที่มีออกมาให้เลือกหลากหลายกล่องมาก ดูจากหน้าปกอาจจะเดาไม่ออกว่าข้างในมีอะไร บางคนก็คิดว่ามีแค่มิเนียเจอร์แนวแฟนตาซี แต่จริงๆ แล้วสินค้าในซีรีย์ Epic Encounters มันอะเมซิ่งมาก ถ้าอยากรู้ว่ากล่องนี้มีอะไรและใช้ทำอะไรได้บ้างก็มาอ่านกันต่อเลย
Epic Encounters คืออะไร?
Epic Encounters คือ กล่องที่ GM สามารถเอามาทำ side quest ในแคมเปญที่รันอยู่ หรือจะเอามารันเป็น one shot adventure ก็ได้ ค่าความสามารถของครีเอเจอร์เค้าออกแบบมาให้ใช้ได้กับ Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition แต่จริงๆ แล้วก็สามารถเอามิเนียเจอร์ไปเล่นกับเกมอะไรก็ได้ ราคาสินค้าซีรีย์นี้เป็นมิตรกับกระเป๋าตังมาก แล้วของที่ได้ในกล่องนี่อย่างคุ้มเลย
ในกล่องมีอะไรบ้าง?
Epic Encounters จะมีกล่องอยู่ 2 แบบ คือ Boss และ Warband
ในกล่อง Boss จะมีมิเนียเจอร์ขนาดใหญ่ 1 ตัว ส่วนในกล่อง Warband จะมีมิเนียเจอร์ขนาดเล็ก เช่น ออร์ค ก็อบลิน หรือ มนุษย์งู ประมาณ 20 กว่าตัว แต่ละตัวจะปั้นมาไม่เหมือนกัน ปกติจะมีแบบที่ต่างกันอยู่ 6-9 แบบ ซึ่งจะมีท่าทางและการถืออาวุธที่ต่างกันไป มิเนียเจอร์ทำจากพลาสติกมีสี และยังไม่ได้ลงสี
นอกจากมิเนียเจอร์แล้ว ในกล่อง Epic Encounters ยังมีอุปกรณ์ดังนี้:
- game mat ใช้ได้ 2 ด้าน
- คู่มือซึ่งมีรายละเอียดพร้อมรัน เช่น เนื้อเรื่อง สถานที่ ค่าความสามารถ
จะทราบได้อย่างไรว่ากล่องไหนใช้สำหรับผู้เล่นเลเวลอะไร?
Epic Encounters สามารถใช้ได้กับผู้เล่นทุกเลเวล ในกล่องจะมีคู่มือซึ่งแบ่ง tier ของผู้เล่นไว้ดังนี้:
- Lower Tier (เลเวล 1 - 4)
- Medium Tier (เลเวล 5 - 10)
- Higher Tier (เลเวล 10+)
ในคู่มือจะบอกไว้ เช่น การเทสค่าบางอย่าง Lower Tier ต้องได้ 12, Medium Tier ต้องได้ 14 หรือ Higher Tier ต้องได้ 18 หรือเวลาเจอกับดัก ก็อาจจะมีกำหนดไว้ว่าให้ทอย d4, d8, หรือ d10 ขึ้นอยู่กับเลเวลของผู้เล่น ส่วนมอนสเตอร์ก็จะมี stat ที่ต่างกันไปตามเลเวลของผู้เล่นเช่นกัน อย่างในกล่อง Lair of the Dragon Queen ผู้เล่นเลเวลต่ำก็จะได้เจอกับ Young Red Dragon ถ้าเป็นผู้เล่นเลเวลสูงกว่าก็จะเจอกับ Ancient Red Dragon!
Epic Encounters ต้องซื้อเรียงตามลำดับไหม?
ไม่ต้องจ้า เลือกช้อปตัวที่ถูกใจได้เลย แต่บางกล่องก็ลิงก์กัน สามารถเอามาเล่นต่อกันได้ด้วยนะ ลองดูไกด์ด้านล่างนี้ได้เลย
