Cancellation Policy
Orders that have not been shipped can be cancelled on request. Simply contact us by email, phone, or chat. If the order was paid, it will be refunded according to our Refund Policy.
Orders that have already been shipped are subject to our Return Policy.
Return Policy
Products that have not been unwrapped, opened, or used can be returned up to 7 days from day of delivery. Shipping the product back to our store is the customer's responsibility.
By unwrapping or opening a product, you accept it in its current condition including any damage or missing components.
Refund Policy
Paid orders that have been cancelled or returned in accordance with the above policies will be refunded.
Returned products will be refunded once the products have reached our store.
Orders paid by credit card will be refunded through credit card. Cardholders should receive the amount before their next billing cycle. In rare cases, it could take up to 30 days.
Orders paid by PayPal will be refunded through PayPal within 7 days.
Orders paid by other methods will be refunded by bank transfer within 7 days. Customer's bank details will be required.
Most shops turn a blind eye to plastic wastes that endanger our environment and wrap products in layers of air bubble sheets. At Golden Goblin Games, we think green and are committed to minimize our impact on the environment.
Green Shipping
With dozens of parcels being sent to our customers every week, we had to think green.
- We designed our own boxes to fit the size of standard board games and Warhammer products. This way, we use and consume less filling material.
- We produce our own 5-layer parcel boxes which are thicker and stronger than average boxes on the market. They protect against damage and can be reused by our customers.
- We use recycled newspapers to fill boxes instead of plastic air bubble sheets.
- We reuse filling material coming from our suppliers’ shipments.
Plastic does not protect more than newspaper. It is just a myth. Our team has over 5 years’ experience with shipping and 99.9% of our customers received their product in perfect condition.
That said, if you really want air bubbles, please send us a request and we will respect your choice.
Green Store
We have a brick & mortar store for walk-in customers and community space for Magic the Gathering and Warhammer players. Here is what we do.
- We use paper bags.
- We provide free drinking water instead of selling bottled water.
- We provide paper straws.
When buying board games, think outside of the box: think green.

Transferring Points

Expiry
Points expire at the end of the year they were acquired. E.g. points earned in 2025 will expire on December 31st, 2025.
Check Your Point Balance
You can check your point balance by logging in and going to My Account. You will not see the Loyalty Program section if you haven't purchased on our website.
Will I receive points when ordering on your Shopee store?
No. Our Loyalty Program is only valid for purchases made in store or on www.goldengoblingames.com.
Disclaimer
Any customers found attempting to fraud or abuse the Loyalty Program will find their accounts deleted and orders canceled. Golden Goblin Games reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Loyalty Program at any time.

Every product we sell is brand new and has never been opened or unwrapped. In very rare cases, some components (token, dice, card, miniature, or else) could be missing due to mistakes at the factory where the game was produced.
Golden Goblin Games is not responsible for missing components and will not provide any discount or refund.
If this problem unfortunately happens to you, you should contact the game publisher directly to request replacement parts. Publishers will normally send the missing parts for free. Golden Goblin Games can help you find the contact details of the publisher if needed.
Golden Goblin Games has many products in stock ready to be shipped. If we do not have what you are looking for, you can still order it on our website. Please read the following to understand the different types of order.
1) Standard Orders
You are placing a standard order when you are ordering products that are in stock at our store. Products in stock can be identified by a green "Available" ribbon on the top left corner of the product image. This means the product is at our store and ready to be shipped.
After placing an order on our website, you will receive a confirmation email within five minutes. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder.
2) Special Orders
You are placing a special order when you are ordering products that are not in stock at our store. Products that are not in stock can be identified by a grey "Out-of-Stock" ribbon on the top left corner of the product image. This means the product is not in stock at our store and that we will do our best to get a copy from our suppliers after receiving your order.
Special Orders refer both to back-orders and pre-orders.
A Back-Order is an order for a product that has already been released but awaiting a restock or a reprint.
A Pre-Order is an order for a product that has not been released on the market yet. We normally receive new releases one or two months after the official US release date.
What happens when I place a special order?
When you place a back-order, we forward your order to one of the official distributors in Thailand. The distributor, who has all the import licenses, consolidates the orders from many Thai shops and forward them once a month either directly to the publisher or to an even bigger distributor located in the USA or China. Huge shipments may take longer to arrive but this is how we can offer you games at an affordable price.

How long do I have to wait for a back-order?
If you are very lucky, one of the distributors in Thailand has a copy of your product at their warehouse. We do not need to wait for a shipment to arrive and can fulfill your order within a week.
If you are lucky, a restock of your product is already on the way to Thailand and we can fulfill your order within a month.
If you are less lucky, your order has to be forwarded all the way to the publisher and we have to wait for the next big shipment. It can take one or two months.
If you are unlucky, it could take many months (note that you can cancel your order anytime):
- your product might be out-of-print on the market and we have to wait and see if it will be reprinted at the factory
- your product might not be available anywhere in the supply chain and we have to wait and see if it will be restocked by an International Distributor
- your product might be on hold at the Thai distributor because they can only order a full case of your product and there is not enough demand in Thailand.
As you can see, the waiting time can vary from a week to many months. Feel free to contact us to get an estimate prior to placing a back-order.
Please note that International Distributors and Publishers don't have real-time inventory systems as they have huge volume of stocks in and out each day, so we cannot check the status of each product. What we normally do is to place an order with a Thai Distributor. Once the Thai Distributor places an order with an International Distributor or a Publisher, they will update the status of the products in their system. Then we can estimate the waiting time.
3) Mixed Orders
You are placing a mixed order when you are ordering multiple products, some of which are available and some of which are out-of-stock. Mixed orders will be shipped to you when ALL products become available. We suggest placing separate orders if you wish to receive the products that are available first.

Golden Goblin Games is a board game retailer, not a board game cafe. We do not have open copies to rent or play at the store.
However, we’re happy to support our local gaming community by providing space to play! We have 6 tables and 24 seats available for use.
1st Floor
- Free to play Magic the Gathering.
- Other games: 100 THB per person per day.
2nd Floor
- Free to play Warhammer
- Other games: 100 THB per person per day.

Shipping Methods
Flash Express
- Price: Flat rate of 100 THB, regardless of weight. Free for orders of 1,000 THB or more.
- You can track your shipment on Flash Express website or call 1436. If there is no data available, please check again after 5 PM.
Grab Express
- Price: Free for orders of 1,000 THB or more.
- Shipping hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 2 PM. to 8 PM.
- We can ship by Grab if your place is within 15 kilometers from our store.
- If the distance is over 15 kilometers or the order is less than 1,000 THB, you can send Grab to pick up your order by yourself.
Shipping Duration
Your products will be shipped within 1-3 days. You will receive tracking number by email.
If your order contains some pre-orders or back-orders, your products will only be shipped once all items are available.
Your order will be delivered to you within 1 to 3 business days depending on your location.
- Chiang Mai and Bangkok Metropolitan Region: you should receive your package within 1 business day. (Shipments on Monday will arrive on Tuesday, shipments on Saturday will arrive on Monday, etc.)
- Other provinces: you should receive your package within 2 business days. (Shipments on Monday will arrive on Wednesday, shipments on Saturday will arrive on Tuesday, etc.)
- Remote areas such as island and mountain destinations: you should receive your package within 3 business days. (Shipments on Monday will arrive on Thursday, shipments on Saturday will arrive on Wednesday, etc.)
If you have any question regarding your shipment status, please contact the shipping company directly and provide them with the tracking code sent to your email.

Shipping Restrictions
- We cannot ship Games Workshop's products outside of Thailand.
- We cannot ship parcels that exceed 20 kilograms.
- We cannot ship hazardous products such as spray and glue.
Shipping Duration
Your products will be shipped within 7 days. It will take another 7 to 14 days for the parcel to reach your door.
If your order contains some pre-orders or back-orders, your products will only be shipped once all items are available.
Duty Fees and Tariffs
Golden Goblin Games is not responsible for duty fees or tariffs that may be charged by customs of your country. We will declare the value of the goods accurately when filling the international shipment form.
*United States
As of September 1st, 2025, we cannot automatically calculate shipping fees to the United States. If you are ready to absorb duty fees and tariffs on your end, follow these steps and we will send you a quotation that you can accept or decline:
- create an account on our website
- add all the products you wish to purchase in your cart
- send us an email asking for a quote via the Contact Us form
After reviewing your "abandoned cart" and calculating the shipping fees based on weight and box size, we will send you a quotation by email that can be paid by Stripe or PayPal.
