Citadel Technical Paint: Martian Ironearth

Citadel Technical: Martian Ironearth is a textured paint that forms a cracked, parched surface resembling the scorched crust of an alien world. Its vibrant, red-orange tone is inspired by the Martian landscape, making it perfect for creating thematic bases for sci-fi armies or desert-dwelling forces. The paint dries to a broken, flaky finish, adding instant drama and texture to any miniature base.

Creates realistic cracked-earth bases when applied thickly and left to dry naturally. Martian Ironearth works exceptionally well as a standalone base or in combination with other Technical paints like Martian Ironcrust for layered, weathered effects.

Apply straight from the pot with a brush or sculpting tool and allow it to dry without disturbance. The resulting cracked surface can be enhanced with drybrushing, tufts, and debris to tell a deeper story through every miniature’s base.
